FNL Webcast Instructions

Below is the information you’ll need to webcast FNL.

Webcasting for FNL is done through the FNL webcast, not your usual congregation webcast.

This means you’ll need to change your streaming settings to send video to the FNL webcast.

You should have access to the “FNL” webcast in the COGWA TV Admin at admin.cogwa.tv. Please be sure to configure your streaming software using the settings within "Software Config" and run a test before FNL starts.

The only information you should need to change is the “Stream Name / Key”.  Of course you’ll need to remember to change this back to your congregation webcast “Stream Name / Key” before webcasting Sabbath Services.

It's required that you record FNL locally in case there are issues during the live stream.

Once the stream is over, you must set the replay. Please trim the webcast recording using the built-in trim tool and then select the "Create New Asset" button.  Use this new asset as the replay.  Set the replay type to "Replay", as none of the other types will work. This will make the video available on-demand on the Member website site and ROKU.

The steps are similar to the following video that describes how to create a sermon from a webcast replay.  You will not need to move the asset to a different location.

Here are the steps you should follow

  1. Confirm that you have access to the FNL webcast in the COGWA TV Admin.
  2. Run a test with the FNL webcast streaming settings available on the Software Config page of the COGWA TV Admin.
  3. Create a Support Ticket to confirm you have successfully tested your setup with the FNL webcast streaming settings.  Testing should be done no later than the Thursday before the scheduled webcast.
  4. After the webcast is complete, set the new webcast as the current replay using the “Replay” type.  If there are problems with the live broadcast, prepare the local recording and upload the file to the Replay page.
